General Information

Who May Attend

The BYU Symposium on Books for Young Readers is open to men and women age 13 and above. Logistical and safety constraints will not allow us to accommodate nursing infants or young children in any symposium sessions.

Location

The conference will be held held in the Provo City Library at Academy Square (550 North University Avenue) in Provo, Utah. The Virginia Sorensen Lecture and Reception will be held in the Wilkinson Student Center on the Brigham Young University campus.

Parking

Parking is available free of charge at the Provo City Library and in the visitor parking lots on BYU campus.

BYU Bookstore Annex and Autographing

Both days’ featured authors will autograph books at scheduled sessions. Books will be available for purchase at a 20% discount at a special BYU Bookstore annex in the Provo City Library.

You are also invited to spend Thursday evening in the BYU Bookstore, where you will be given a 20% discount coupon valid for all items in the store, excluding textbooks and education computer products.
