  2. By Phone: Call 801-422-8925 Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm mountain time and pay with your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. If you have questions about the program, please call 801-422-7589.

  3. In Person: Visit our registration desk in the lobby of the Harman Continuing Education Building on the Brigham Young University campus located at approximately 750 E. University Parkway, Provo, UT 84604. At-the-door registrations are accepted on a space-available basis.

  4. By Mail: Download and fill out the PDF registration form. Mail completed registration with payment to Summer Educator Workshops, 120 Harman Continuing Education Building. Provo, UT 84602.

We cannot reserve class space without full payment. Registration is limited, and no overflow will be offered. We encourage you to register early.The registration deadline is Friday, July 6, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. (MT).


Financial aid

Limited funds are available based on financial need, academic potential, character and the capacity to help others. The amount awarded will vary according to the need of the student. To obtain an application, please call 801-422-7589 or download an application. Completed applications for financial aid should be submitted as early as possible and must be received at least two weeks before the beginning of the program.

The financial aid application deadline is May 23, 2012.


Registration for BYU employee/spouse eligible for tuition benefits

BYU Benefits will cover the registration fee for eligible individuals as if the participant were taking/auditing a 1-credit summer term class. If you have questions about your eligibility for tuition benefits, call Benefits Services at 801-422-4716.

If you have any problems registering online using tuition benefits, please call 801-422-7589 during regular business hours to complete your registration.


Substitutions and cancellations

After your registration for a workshop has been processed, any change in registration must take place BEFORE the beginning of the workshop session or on the first day of the workshop. A refund may be requested through the end of the first day of class, after which time no refund will be processed. A $25 fee will be assessed for each refund requested. BYU Benefits Services will not pay cancellation costs. You will receive a full registration refund if the program is canceled for any reason. The university will not be responsible for any cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions. Refunds require several weeks to process.


FERPA policy

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of your educational record. In order to be in compliance with FERPA, we require verification of your identity before releasing any personally identifiable or educational information to you. Please do not ask parents, spouses, friends, or siblings to request this information for you.


Admissions and standards

Participants of any race, color, creed, and ethnic or national origin are accepted for admission to this program provided they maintain the university standards while on campus. These include modesty in dress and conduct and abstinence from alcohol, tobacco, coffee, tea, and harmful drugs.

We are committed to providing a learning atmosphere that reasonably accommodates persons with disabilities who are otherwise qualified. At least two weeks prior to the start of the program, applicants with disabilities are invited to discuss the program content and available facilities with the program director.
