Orientation and Auditions

Monday begins with check-in from 9:00–10:45 a.m., followed by orientation and lunch. Auditions will take place after lunch. Students will audition for placement in one of six group numbers. Placement will be determined by the workshop director and the Young Ambassadors’ Singing Entertainer staff. You should dress comfortably for the auditions and come ready to dance and sing.

All participants will be taught the same song and dance for auditions, which will take place all afternoon on Monday.

You will rehearse with your individual group during the week, and you will perform together at the Friday Final Concert. Experience and ability will vary among participants, and groups are selected to benefit each individual and provide opportunities for learning. Assignments will not be changed.
