Conference Lunch Options

The Morris Center is no longer an option for lunch, and because the alternatives are a relatively long distance from the Conference Center, we are offering box lunches that will be delivered to the Conference Center each day. You must sign up for the box lunch when you register. We cannot guarantee box lunches will be available to those who walk on to the conference without pre-registering.

Box lunches will cost $12 and will include a sandwich, side salad or chips, a cookie or brownie and a bottle of water. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available for those who need them. Please call 801-422-4852 and let us know if you need that accommodation so we can order the correct number of lunches. Leave a message if no one answers. Tell us the day or days you will need an alternative lunch and which, vegetarian or gluten-free, you need. We cannot accommodate any other food allergy at this time.

If you choose to go elsewhere for your lunch, a list of campus options is below. Cougar Cash cards are not being offered this year except as part of the BYU Housing package.

ICAPGen Luncheon

The International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists (ICAPGen) is pleased to host its second annual networking luncheon. This event provides an opportunity for those interested in becoming an Accredited Genealogist to talk and eat with AG® professionals and get more insight as to the application and testing process, as well as learn more of the practical benefits of achieving the AG® credential.

We will have many Accredited Genealogists in attendance to help interested candidates learn more about becoming part of our group. This was a popular event last year, and we encourage early registration to ensure your seat at our table. To register, please click the “Registration” tab at the top of this page and add the ICAPGen Luncheon option to your cart.

Lunch will be held on Friday, July 28, the concluding day of the BYU Conference on Family History & Genealogy, from noon to 1:30 p.m. under the BYU Conference Center Pavilion.  Cost for the event is $20.
